In April, Phap Luat launched the program "Lighting the lights on the sea with the fisherman" to support fishermen in doing business and contribute to protecting Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands.

Besides, the program wants to promote patriotism, arouse affection, and a sense of protection of the environment and marine resources, when recently the country's sovereignty over seas and islands is being threatened. The program is held in 28 coastal provinces across the country for 3 years, from 2023 to 2025. In addition to gifts of practical value to support fishermen, scholarships for children of fishermen in difficult circumstances. The program also commends and replicates models and factors that know how to get rich from the sea, creating competitive values for Vietnamese seafood to reach the world.
