Recently, GONSA had the opportunity to participate in the "Vietnam - South Africa Economic Cooperation Seminar" in Pretoria, South Africa on September 14, 2023. This event was coordinated by government agencies from both Vietnam and South Africa as part of the "Vietnam Day Abroad" framework, which was organized for the first time in South Africa to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties between the two countries.

As GONSA, we were honored to be among more than 150 businesses from both countries, spanning various fields such as energy, agricultural products, pharmaceuticals, ... At the seminar, GONSA's representative, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thu, the Deputy Director responsible for Research & Drug Registration, delivered a speech outlining our plans to develop exclusive distribution channels for exporting pharmaceutical products from domestic manufacturers. We also discussed our vision for establishing distribution channels through domestic e-commerce platforms and developing technology applications to directly connect domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers with exclusive distributors in foreign markets. Our goal is to bring high-quality 'Made-in-Vietnam' pharmaceutical products to customers worldwide.

One notable highlight of the seminar was the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between GONSA and the South African Company, Mothopo Pharma-Chem. This agreement paves the way for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and market expansion. Through this partnership with Mothopo Pharma-Chem, we aspire to introduce high-quality pharmaceutical products from Vietnam to South Africa and neighboring African countries.
